I didn’t think much about inclusion. There’s a boy in my class with a learning disability and some learners used to laugh at him. But during our sessions, our coach taught us that everyone deserves to play and feel part of the team.
One day, I was asked to be his partner during an session. I realized how much he enjoyed it when I helped him through. Since then, I’ve made sure no one is left behind.
The biggest change for me is understanding that kindness is strength, and inclusion is not just about letting people play—it’s about making them feel they belong.
