Helping Others Helped Me Grow

Helping Others Helped Me Grow

Being part of the Olympic Club has been the best experience for me. We plan games for the Grade 3 learners and help them during activities. At first, I didn’t think they would listen to me, but they did! Teaching them to jump and catch balls taught me patience and leadership.

Coming from a township community where there aren’t many opportunities, I used to think leadership was only for adults. Now, I understand that leadership starts with helping others. I even keep minutes of our club meetings.

The biggest change for me is realizing I can make a difference now, not one day. I’ve grown into someone who leads with kindness and purpose.
