During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, Altus Sport received funding from Standard Chartered Bank to support participants and communities in need.

Through this initiative:

• 4,800 girls in the GOAL programme received backpacks with hygiene supplies, sanitiser, face masks, and reusable sanitary pads.
• 64 Youth Sport Leaders were equipped with protective gear, sanitiser, and mobile phones to support their community work.
• 170 vulnerable families received food parcels over three months.
• 20 schools were provided with greenhouse vegetable gardens and water tanks, with produce supporting school feeding schemes (60%) and youth entrepreneurship (40%).
